sony Stereo FM AM Tuner st-jx401

in tonight's video I'm going to service a Sony STJ x5 20 a this is an AM stereo FM stereo home tuner that Sony put out it's my own personal piece I've had it for years it's broken and we're gonna fix it tonight so in today's video I'm going to look at an old Sony this is an ST JX 520 a and as you can see it's an FM stereo AM stereo tuner this is quite a rare piece that Sony had and that this is my own piece I've had this since it was new it was part of my system unfortunately it got scratched due to other components and stuff being placed on top of it I was always a firm believer that you you didn't put anything on top of your amplifier due to concerns of heat so the amplifier went on top and the tuner was on the bottom of the stack just because the tuner is not gonna produce much in the way of heat I have a cat in here that's going to be driving me crazy this year it's got a couple pro
