where do you get your type 2 cassette tapes these days for four track recording this is a topic that's come up a lot recently and over the years of doing the channel i've received a lot of emails and comments about the availability of type 2 tapes and for this video i just wanted to make sort of a source for finding type 2 tapes around the world so whether you're in the eu the americas australia or someplace else leave a comment below and let us know where you're sourcing your type 2 tapes from i used to get mine from national audio company out in springfield missouri and the thing with those type 2 tapes these right here the 799 studio masters these are awesome tapes the ones i've used for i think basically as long as i've been for track recording they were a little expensive uh per tape but i'm glad i have a cachet of these sitting around now because i should be good for a while perso
