Coil binding is one of the most popular binding methods due to its professional appearance and its lay-flat design, or ability to flip pages 360 degrees. Perfect for business proposals, annual reports, company presentations, and any other book binding project, spiral binding coils from Oregon Laminations Company are made of high quality PVC plastic filament.

These binding coils have a 4:1 pitch (4-holes per inch, 48 loops per 12" coil) and are fully compatible with all 4:1 pitch coil binding machine brands. Holes punched in sheets can be round or oval.

Choosing desired coil size: Measure the thickness of your stack of pages and add 1/8-inch (3mm).

[Music] so this is what i was so excited about the other day this is a comb binding machine and i had an idea for it for people who like to use coils instead of the combs because the comb here i'll show you the combs tend to come undone a little bit more than a coil so here is a comb and you can see that they don't really seal it just kind of flips over and inside that but um so a lot of people don't like these so as i was researching the different things between a comb binder and a coil binder i found that this is about two and a half to two holes per inch [Music] so my idea was you could put two of these per hole i went ahead and i did it with um with this that i punched and surprisingly for this document it actually worked pretty well burns you can see i've got the two in there it works better if you have two hands me doing it one hand isn't working so very good okay this is a book t
