hi err Robin here from expert on and today we are gonna be talking about phono preamps what is a phone preamp well if you're watching this video this is what you need if you've got an older turntable in your stereo or you plan on hooking up an older turntable to anything else that you've bought in the last 15 years you're gonna probably need a phone a preamp what's happening right now is that he plugged your turntable into whatever it is you have your stereo or your speaker or your some system and you're getting no volume out of it you turn up 3/4 the way you start hearing it well that is because they don't put phone preamps in systems anymore they cut that out just a little over a year 2000 they started trimming it out of systems so pile very savvy little company figured will take what they don't use anymore and will put it inside of here now for a lot of years there were no turntables
