Valcom VIP-801A Enhanced Network Audio Port

good morning everyone Rick Hamilton from Val comm Val comes a us-based company we're celebrating our 40th anniversary this year so we're very proud to be here at ISE introducing some products to the European market what we have in front of us right here is one of our very basic components in our IP platform a VIP 801 what this is is a sip enabled eye pppoe audio gateway that allows you to push or pull analog audio across the network on the front of the device we have just an rj45 connection and as I mentioned that is p OE so you simply connect that to a POS switch and that's all the power that's required on the rear of the unit and we have a number of different inputs and outputs but in particular the inputs are for taking analog audio and pushing that into the device for things like microphones background music that sort of thing pushing it into the device sending it across the metric
