The digital version of the classic Sun Company Zipogage thermometer! Digital Zipogage is a compact, lightweight zipperpull thermometer that is perfect for skiing, snowboarding, camping, or any outdoor activity. It comes equipped with a large LCD and a large button that easy to use, even while wearing gloves. The battery and LCD are engineered to withstand ultra-cold temperatures of -20° Fahrenheit, or -30° Celsius. Press button once to turn on/of the device. Hold button for three seconds to switch reading back and forth from Fahrenheit to Celsius. Panasonic #CR2025 battery is included and is replaceable. NOTE: As with any thermometer, accuracy will be affected by direct sunlight, as it will be affected by ambient body heat. Glass and digital thermometers are designed to be read "in the shade." So expect higher than normal readings if thermometer is in direct sunlight (due to solar energy), or close to the body (due to radiant heat). These effects will be mitigated somewhat in windy conditions, with steady brisk movement, or with heavy insulation between body and thermometer sensor.
