okay it's a review this is a review of the pathos acoustics in polar preamplifier slash headphone amplifier as you can see it's a hybrid design there's a to those 6922 tubes poking up from the top there otherwise it is a fully class-a fully balanced design solid-state hybrid nose - solid-state does it all but it's it's beautiful and I just want to take a little detour right now and talk about one of my ongoing frustrations with high end audio is that it doesn't look cool you know like walking around guy could look at a Ferrari who's not a car nut and say wow that's a really cool car you know they look at a Lamborghini and say wow that's something they don't know what it is but they know it's special right high-end audio to the average person I don't you know to the average non audiophile person just looks like it's a box it's got knobs that's the big deal right I think I think this comp
