all right today we're going to replace a damaged dust cap this is an electro voiced driver model 15b and as you can see we have a fresh recon that was done for the customer here and unfortunately he damaged the center cap here so we need to replace that pretty straightforward procedure on these so we'll show you how to do that today as you can see here this particular cap is the logoed evie cap in white those are also available in gold which certain models use and some don't have the logo at all and that's fine but that's more of an appearance item on the Eevee's that are used for these recons so we'll go ahead and remove the old cap first sharp utility knife about a quarter inch to a half of an inch of blade exposed here on the knife you want to come in like this very carefully right above the old blue line and just carefully remove the old cap being careful not to cut into the column
