This hoop has 12 LED's (12 color changing full spectrum RGB LED's). The ever changing spectrum of colors adds variety and a blend of slow changes. They are assembled with care from top shelf materials. I have tried dozens of buttons, batteries, LED's, wires, and methods and have made a hoop that is extremely durable, and built with a quality not matched by any other hoop anywhere near the same price range. - I use thick gauge copper wiring instead of fragile speaker wire which breaks and snaps after soldering. - I have integrated a on/off power button that can turn the hoop on and off with the single push click, which does not require opening the hoop, But the hoop still allows you to take the tubing part and replace the batteries with new charged ones so you never have to plug in your hoop for charging. - All our LEDs are super bright high capacity 5mm LED's, they are fitted with resistors, soldered, insulated, and wrapped in an additional layer of insulation for protection to eliminate rattling. - There is no uneven light gap where the battery compartment is located. - We use a spring pin release button for quick and easy access to the battery compartment for quick battery swapping with no required tools. - Our hoops use the exact same thickness of tubing all the way around. We do not require a thicker tubing piece for our hoops connector. We engineered an internal connector that does not interfere with the shape or use of the hoop unlike many other LED hoops being produced
