Thermal Magnetic Circuit Breaker, Miniature, QO Series, 240 VAC, 10 A, 1 Pole, DIN Rail

alright guys today we're going to talk about the operation of a circuit breaker and in particular a circuit breaker with both magnetic and thermal trip units what I have here is what was formerly a three pole breaker I have removed one of the poles and I did that by locating these four rivets and drilling those out with a battery drill let's see here's our trip handles and then also our screw terminals then this type of breaker is specifically mounted on a den rail and an enclosure for what was a control application we're going to follow the current path through this circuit breaker first by looking at the input screw which is this guy right here so we would attach a wire the current would be carried up through this metal conductor and through this flexible braid and right now the breaker is in a closed setting so we're going to go ahead and hold it to open the breaker up as you can see
