hi dastan at the thermal web booth and today we're introducing two new gels under our deco foil transfer gel line the first replaces our original transfer gel this is new transfer gel duo it goes on white and dries clear like the original but this gel dries tacky so that now you can use it two ways you either transfer with the laminator or you can press it through your die cutting machine on a wafer thin dies setting so here's what the gel looks like when it's dry it's got just a little bit of tact to it so I'm gonna do sticky side up for the gel and then the foil goes on pretty side up when I use it in the die-cutting machine I always want to put a cardstock shim underneath to increase the pressure a little bit because the gel is dimensional if you're cutting plates are well worn and had a lot of cut lines in them I would recommend putting the shim on top just to prevent the transfer o
