The Tokina AT-X PRO D 100 mm F2.8 MACRO Ever since Ken Rockwell back in 2006 made his review of this lens and praised it very much, I think this has been a legend and still is today It is an amazing piece of glass that you get (or pieces of glass) for the price and I think in terms of budget friendliness this is some of the best glass you can get in the marketplace today it's for...obviously as the MACRO name indicates it is for macro shooting but it is also very good at portraits and street photography however if you are a Nikon user and you are in the budget friendly end of the scale (Nikon lineup) and you have a 3000 or a 5000 series camera body there are two things I would like to make you aware of not to scare you - this is a fantastic lens don't get me wrong but I do think you should be aware of two things if you have a 3000 or a 5000 series Nikon camera body i do not own a 3000 s
