The Toughbook 19 CF-195HYAXLM 10.1" Convertible Touchscreen Tablet PC from Panasonic is built to withstand shocks due to drops, inclement weather, and temperature changes. Encased in a magnesium alloy chassis and featuring a shock-mounted flex-connect hard drive, the Toughbook 19 belongs to Panasonic's "Fully-Rugged" series of Toughbooks, and has been tested and proven to withstand drops up to 6'. The Touchscreen display can be used as a conventional notebook screen, or it can be swiveled and laid flat to emulate a tablet. In both configurations, the user can navigate using fingers, gloves, or the included stylus, which can be stored in the integrated holder. When set up traditionally, the notebook is navigated by means of an 82-key standard keyboard and a pressure-sensitive touchpad with vertical scrolling support. This notebook comes with 4GB of installed RAM, a 500GB 7200rpm SATA hard drive, and a 2.7 GHz Intel i5-3340M vPro dual-core processor. The 10.1" LED-backlit screen is capable of up to 6000 nit in direct sunlight and features TransflectivePlus and Panasonic CircuLumin technology. This system runs Windows 7 Professional by default, but includes a license that you can use to update to Windows 8 Pro. The Toughbook 19 is equipped with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, and Gigabit Ethernet connectivity, and USB 3.0, FireWire, VGA, and other ports are available for connecting peripherals and additional displays. It also has a dual high-gain antenna to help send and receive transmissions. The system is protected with a variety of security features including Hard Disk Lock and Intel Anti-Theft Technology.
