Hi, there! This is Joe. This video I will tell the difference between the passive PoE injector and active PoE injector. So both the injector will take the power from AC outlet and convert to DC and add to the
internet cable. So what's the difference? The difference is the active PoE injector complied with IEEE PoE standard. According to the IEEE PoE standard, the injector need to proceed 2 steps before injects the power into cable. The first step is it would send very small currency to the remote IP devices to confirm the remote IP devices also IEEE comply. If the PoE injector can not receive the legal feedback, the PoE injector is not going to add
any power to internet cable. The next step is it will send five voltage to classify
