This time on Road and Race my review of the RAM car mounts I wanted to be able to record things in my car such as track days and videos for this channel so looked around for a mount that could attach to the Boxster’s factory roll bar. I needed a mount that sturdy and also modular so I could use a selection of different cameras on the same base So I looked around and eventually ordered three parts from a company called RAM. These are the roll bar hoop base, the iphone 4s mount and the connecting piece. I ordered directly from the RAM website but you can get also get them on Amazon. The roll bar hoop came as a package with the connecting piece and cost £45. The iphone 4s mount was £11. Postage was about £3. I’ll put all the part numbers in the Description box.
