A lot of guys with newer trucks, you know you've got USB ports that shut down as soon as you shut the truck off, so this kind of bypasses that. What it is is it's a six foot long cable, or right about six feet, and it's got the standard mini USB five pin to plug in your Garmin devices you know your Drivetracks your Alphas your Astros and so on. It's got a built in in-line fuse and what you do is you'd wire this directly to your truck. You've just got a power and a ground. It's got a built-in converter. It's ready to go.
