[MUSIC PLAYING] In this video, we will show you how to properly replace a battery module in an SMX Smart-UPS. Please note that all battery modules are hot-swappable. Therefore, you will not need to disconnect the load, or power down the UPS. Before getting started, you will need a new battery module. Start by removing the front bezel of the UPS. Unscrew the two thumbscrews located on the front of the battery cover and pull the cover off. Detach the Anderson connector and slide the battery module out and set it aside. Install the new battery module in the UPS and reconnect the Anderson connector. Put the battery cover back up to its original position and refasten the thumbscrews. Reattach the front bezel of the UPS.
