so the fan of the bathroom the ceiling fan stopped working so i wanted to fix it and um the first thing i did is remove this motor with this hamster cage uh style fan and upon quick inspection it looks fine i mean look at this i turn it and it's smooth there's no bearing issues it's not stuck it's turning smoothly i did clean it with some compressed air it was very dirty and it just stopped working so i was suspecting the uh run capacitor on this and fair enough it shows that there is an issue with that i'm not getting the proper reading here so what i'm going to do is show you how to read the capacitance so if you could get a capacitor meter like this one here set it up on the micro farad because this one here is a 3.5 microfarad and then after you short the tip the the shorted up to release all the current um go ahead and test and see how much it's giving and if i test it see it's giv
