Hey this is JR, training manager here at Crutchfield,
and this is the Denon AVR-X6500H. It is a beast of a home theater receiver. There are
11 channels of power with 140 watts per channel, and a ton of connections on the back. So if
you like a receiver with enough connections to really hook up just about anything, this
might be perfect for you. Let's talk about all of the cool ways you can take those 11 channels
of power and really put 'em to use. You of course can set up a nice, full Dolby Atmos system
with every speaker powered by the receiver. That's 7 speakers surrounding you, and for
Atmos, speakers up in the ceiling above you. That's a pretty great surround sound system.
If you don't have 11 speakers in your home theater system, that's okay, you don't have
to. You can bi-amp your front speakers, maybe have a nice large pair of floor-standing speakers
