Palmer PAN05 - Microphone Merger

hey what's going on it's rick here and we're going to do a sound test today of this which happens to be the blue ice pop microphone now yeah they are marketing this as designed for the astro a40 headset but truth be told because this microphone has a jack a 3.5 millimeter jack just like that any headset that you're gonna have that allows you to replace the microphone with another that utilizes this type of a connector you'll be able to use this so yeah they've marketed it towards the astro a40 headset but as long as it your headset supports that 3.5 millimeter replaceable you should be able to use this no problem now they're claiming this is going to give you better audio quality and it also has a pop filter built in so it'll reduce all the plosives we're going to do a sound test right now compared to this guy which happens to be the standard microphone that is found on the astro a40 so
