Beaver tail (one half of a full tail) 

• Size:  

1. SMALL measures approximately 3 1/2" x 8" 
2. MEDIUM measures approximately 4" x 9" 
3. Large measures approximately 5" x 10" 

• This is an undyed veg tanned tail, that can be dyed another color.
• Beaver tails have a wonderful, natural texture that makes them sought after 
• The temper is: stiff (where tail attaches to body), becomes pliable as it tapers down to the tip; and has a rough texture.  

• Common uses for beaver tails are: 
  
  * knife sheaths 
  * gun holsters 
  * bucking rolls for saddles
