i just have to say for the price and picture this projector is awesome my fan is quiet now it puts out some serious heat still is a great investment this projector is the strongest case against buying an expensive flat screen it's really bright really sharp has excellent color and contrast and has reasonably good black levels need to pair it with a grey screen like elite or cars to get good performance with some ambient light make sure your screen is perfectly flat no walls or the image won't be perfectly square on the corners due to extreme image geometry issues for this reason i would suggest buying a screen with aluminum frame instead of building your own i did out of one x4s and never could get it perfectly flat also this pj isn't bright enough to push a black screen like si black diamond or dnp supernova unless the screen is 100 inches or less if it's white or gray this pj will pus
