hi everyone I just purchased a samalex power SC c12 35 M where the M stands for meters because they have another version without the meters 12 for 12 volt power and then 35 for 35 amps the most then it can provide so this is the power supply for the for my new radio that I have the FT nine nine one a and the strange things that you learn in ham radio the radios are powered by DC power like many devices believe it or not but inside the radio there isn't a way to convert the power from your wall to the power that the radio needs so you need one of these so you can you can think of this almost as the power that's coming out from the wall and changing this will change it to a power like a battery and so that's that's pretty fascinating thing that I didn't know about radios you know I thought you just plug them in but you don't and that's because also when you go in the field somewhere somew
