[Music] what's up everyone and welcome to ECP you about a year and a half ago I decided to pick up two copies of one of the best-selling hard drives that I could find on Amazon at the time that was the Western Digital blue one terabyte 7200 rpm drives that I have right here for several years prior to picking up these two hard drives I had been using solid state drives exclusively in my own personal system builds but I was curious and I wanted to see if these top-selling traditional spinning drives could still be useful in some usage cases and now after about one and a half years of regular use I'm finally ready to answer the questions number one are these drives worth buying in 2019 and two who should buy them let's do this Western Digital has become known for segmenting their storage products with color codes each color represents a group of products that have been optimized for a spec
