hey everybody welcome back today we're gonna take a look at a new budget ham radio egg this is the qyt Katie 8900 our tribe and radio hey everybody welcome back so I found this new radio this is a new radio that's being sold by qyt this is an upgrade from their 8900 this is the Katie 8900 R and it is a tri-band er so it does two of two meters 220 and 440 and I'm really pleased with it so far I've been playing around with it now for about a week and a half I haven't put it in its permanent place yet because it is replacing if you guys were with my channel a couple of years ago this little 10 watt like sin rig this is the VV 8 9 8 and this says worked amazingly well I know I got a couple comments when I first bought it that people bet it wouldn't last a week well here it is about a year and a half two years later still working so I like to have a radio out here just basically for the loca
