this is a first look video at our new zip box Pro which we're announcing at IBC 2018 it's an extremely lightweight matte box available in a swing-away version which we're showing here in a clamp-on version which we'll look at in a moment each version includes a carbon fiber flag which folds down to cover the front to protect the lens when traveling to unlock twist the thumbscrew lifts the flag and then lock it into place to load the filters you come from the front align the bottom of the filter with the bottom of the matte box push the lever and swing it into position you can also tilt the filters by installing it into a forward slot and repeat the process with the lever on top to swing away unlock the thumb screw on the right side and then open the matte box one of my favorite features is that you can tension this thumb screw to the right amount where you don't have to actually unlock
