Dish Network Solo HD Receiver (Vip211k) (remanufactured)

okay so I just got finished up hooking up external hard drive to my VIP - 11 K Dish Network just gonna give her the heads up to anybody else trying to do this I'm in my RV which I don't use all the time so excuse the mess that I got going on here but anyways I had went to Walmart and I bought a 1 terabyte hard drive Toshiba this was about 55 dollars um dish says that your hard drive can be 50 gigs up to 2 terabytes so you can get a 1 terabyte for as much as you can a 500 gig so why not these however you can't hardly find a hard drive that has its own external power source I think that was more of a back in the day playing when they only had USB 2.0 I searched everywhere and you just can't find it so this hard drive that I have right here is only powered by the USB from the device it's plugged into I plugged it in just a safe it would work on its own and when I plugged it in you could he
