setting up an 80a to handle traditional machine based faxing is pretty simple but there are some things to watch out for depending on your model for the ob 300 plug in a network cable from your office network to the internet port on the ATA next you're going to plug the power cord into the DC port and the ATA and into a socket on your wall or power strip and finally you're going to plug a phone line from your fax machine into the phone port and the ATA the ATA will take up to five minutes to fully boot up and start functioning for the Obi 302 the process is the same just make sure that if you only use one fax machine the phone line coming from the fax machine must be plugged into the phone one port also on the Obi 302 you do have the opportunity to share an internet connection with a PC to do this the network cable for the PC should be plugged into the land port of the ATA you
