Description
the Aurora PowerXND 2000 filters are now available in eBay. With the best light reduction and resolution capabilities, PowerXND 2000 filters can be used in a wide variety photography as well as video applications. The PowerXND 2000 has up to 11 stops (ND 2000) of light reduction capability which has been only available with fixed neutral density (ND) filters until now whereas commercially available variable ND filters only have up to 6 stops (ND 400) capability. Designed in California, PowerXND 2000 has an innovative filter frame design which reduces the overall profile of the filter. This reduced profile is important for keeping vignetting on wide angle lenses to minimum. The filter frame of the PowerXND 2000 is optimized to reduce height and volume. With a filter height of 5.5mm when mounted on a lens, the PowerXND 2000 is about half the height of other commercially available variable ND filters and smaller overall. Multiple layers of nano coating technology are applied to glass surfaces for anti-reflection purposes, thus provides protection to filter surfaces. The Aurora PowerXND filters are built from aerospace grade aluminum frames with computer numerical control lathes (CNC) for mechanical precisions and treated with anode oxidation process for corrosion protection. Extended temperature range lubricant is applied in the assembly process so the final products have smooth and yet dampen rotation handling for all weather applications. Specifications Range - ND 16 - 2000 (ND 1.2 - 3.3 or 4 - 11 stops) Slim profile of 5.5mm for filters of 37mm - 86mm, 8.8mm for filters of 95mm and 105mm. Available filter thread sizes: 37mm, 39mm, 40.5mm, 43mm, 46mm, 49mm, 52mm, 55mm, 58mm, 62mm, 67mm, 72mm, 77mm, 82mm, 86mm, 95mm x 1, 105mm x 1.

Product review & video
hi today we are going to take a look at the power X and D mm this is an 11 stop variable ND filter by aura and what we are going to do today is take a look at how it compares to the sir variable ND filter which we have reviewed here recently so let's begin by taking a closer look at the power x ND mm so let's start by taking a closer look at the power x and d mm and on the way we can do a quick specs comparison to the syrup variable ND filter which we have tested here the power x and v mm has a pre thin profile while the seer which is a pre if thinner of its own has around eight point one millimeter profile from our measurement the power x NT mm has about seven point six millimeter profile which is very nice the units has dots on the side compared to the lines on the seer we actually prefer lines or even numbers as they are easier and faster to read the reason why no manufacturer uses n
