hi my name's gordon i'm an amateur microscopist and i'm a member of the icini microscopy study group which is a group of like-minded individuals who meet at a village hall just to the east of norwich now because the icini group was formed by beekeepers in the first instance there's a great deal of interest among the members in all aspects of beekeeping and also in the study of pollen now i'm not a beekeeper i don't really have a great deal of interest in bees to be perfectly honest other than making slides of b parts and b wings and the like but i am very interested in pollen largely because it's very easy to make slides of pollen it's very easy to make good slides of pollen and this is an example of one of my slides which has been shown on my venerable zeiss universal via the video camera on the top of the trinocular port there now the traditional method of making slides of pollen invo
