good morning vinyl community it's me jc back again hopefully everybody's doing well happy wednesday um today's video is going to be a viewer request is how do i protect and store my vinyl records um it was actually one of our subscribers craig that reached out recently about this but about three or four times a week via instagram or via youtube i get asked about the way i put my sleeves or the gatefold sleeves or how do i protect my records so i'm going to make this video and this is the way that um i personally protect it um but you know watch multiple videos everybody's got little slightly different techniques and hopefully this will help you out but the first recommendation i'm going to make guys is when you open a brand new record do not pop it right on your turntable you should clean it first especially if it's in a paper sleeve you want to make sure that you get everything off the
