if you like me and you've been using a 3d printer to work on long prints then you probably notice that some of your stepper motors have probably gotten pretty hot over the long term and so I've been working on some solutions to alleviate that and I've come up with a few this isn't completely original there's a lot of folks online who've come up with ideas and I just wanted to showcase this we're gonna look at today's how to keep your stepper motors cool a couple things you'll need in order to make this work one and get some 40 millimeter by 40 millimeter heat sinks these are aluminum they're pretty cheap I got a pack of 12 from Amazon for about 10 bucks so it's a pretty good deal you need some of these and I need some thermal adhesive tape you want to make sure that it's the tape stuff the normal things that we use some GPUs and stuff like that isn't sticky so this is what you want to p
