Turntable Belt for Marantz TT-155 Turntable

[Music] hi guys so this video is just about replacing a belt on turntable so we have here a vintage yamaha p200 turntable and it displays the symptoms of a broken belt so if you buy a secondhand turntable and you plug it in and you turn the arm you can hear there is a noise but it's not spinning so this is a clear sign of a broken belt so these belts over the time they are rubber they start to disintegrate and they're just gone they perish and to fix that issue what you need is um you need a replacement belt so i got a replacement belt for this turntable but i also want to mention that there are turntables out there that do not use any belts these are direct drive turntables so they use a different mechanism to turn the platter um but in our case here we have a belt driven turntable and i would say the majority of turntables out there are probably belt driven um so some people ask me af
