hey YouTube so I want to do a real quick video on how to request replace the belt on a Crosley / portable case record player the ones that come in the little suitcases like this mine's a Victrola I bought this purposely to take it apart and do videos like this the Crosley is the most common little suitcase record player just like this and they look almost identical to this so I figured this video may help any of y'all who have that kind of suitcase portable record player most commonly the reason why you would need to change your belt is because your turntable is either not spinning or is not consistently spinning meaning you're getting probably like a altered pitch maybe it's going normal and then the changes and it goes either slower or faster that's a good sign that your belt may be not working properly if you're not spinning at all that means your belt either disconnected or it's it'
