hi everyone this is Rick with Ram mounts and today we're going to take a look at the RAM be size double ball and socket mounting system with the short double socket arm and two round flat plates as you can see this is made up of three components total if we loosen the knob on the side we can disassemble these parts and look at each component that goes into the system here so you have two round flat plates both plates are the exact same where the diameter on each plate is two and a half inches and as you can see there are a total of seven different mounting holes you have the four whole industry standard amps whole pattern as well as a three hole 120-degree hole pattern so these holes you can connect this to the back of any universal or form-fitting ram cradle or any other device that lines up with the holes or if it's acting as the base you simply hard mount this on to any flat surface
