hi and welcome to fellow GPS in this video we're featuring Garmin's extended out front mount that enables you to mount your Garmin h1000 a little bit ahead of your handlebars and a little bit more in your field of view so the main difference between this mount and Garmin's standard out front mount is that you'll notice here on the standard model that the mounting arm is towards the lower part of the clamping system and this sadly means that the Garmin Edge one fails and fouls on your handlebars or stem so you can't actually mount it in place so with the extended mount you'll notice that the mounting bar here is towards the upper part of the clamping system so it just gives a little bit of extra clearance and enables you to happily mount your Garmin h1000 so other than that difference the clamps are broadly similar they both have the Garmin quarter-turn mounting system that standard acro
