[Music] hello viewers welcome to texture gel today we will discuss some easy methods of testing MOSFET using a multimeter now here I am using for testing IRS 8 3 2 and I RS p250 n MOSFET which are both enhancement in channel MOSFET I have shown the symbol of insulin musketeer there are three terminal drain gate and source you can identify the three terminal from this figure from the left side the terminals are gate drain and source for the type of MOSFET now most often these MOSFET used as a switch if you apply a positive voltage at gate with respect to source then current can flow drain to source so device coming on state mode and when the gate to source voltage is zero then no current flow through drain to source then device coming off state mark that you can use this MOSFET for switching purpose and the gate is insulated from the drain and source so it act like a small capacitor now
