this is the emx car sense 101 it uses a wand type vehicle detector that is available with a 50 or 100 foot lead it has buried a few inches below grade on the side of the driveway this unit uses a separate detector which is available in several voltages the advantage of this unit is that you can change the frequency and sensitivity settings it is important to note that this unit will not function properly if the vehicle is going under five miles per hour it is not recommended for use in very short driveways
