today we're gonna go over on how to get good clean audio using the rode videomic pro and the Canon t5i I'm Alex Lopez and this is digital shot we have a shotgun mic but no digital audio recorder that it isn't easy to get good clean audio minded people would just plug in their mic straight to your camera and end up with audio that adds a lot of hits to it but with the rode videomic pro we can still plug it in straight to our camera and end up with great audio using its plus 20 DB setting let's get to it all right we're gonna need to have the camera in manual mode then hit the menu button mines on the upper left corner of my camera again I'm using the t5 I then go four times to right until you see this it's sound recording it sound recording again and change it to manual then go to recording level bring it down all the way to the left mine's already there then bring it back up around four
