I want to demonstrate some ways you can put up the window door contacts on doors and windows first I'll just kind of show you in this door the traditional way I'll put the contact on the door and then the magma on the side and that way you can see that the magnet is on the side with the LED lights and it's within a half inch I'm going to go ahead and open the door and as you can see that red light illuminates letting me know the signal has been sent to the main panel and that the alarm has been triggered the contact can also go horizontally if needed so you can place the contact on the door and then the magnet right above it on the frame and again you can see that it's within a half-inch and the magnet is on the side with the two LED lights I'm going to go ahead and open the door and as you can see the red light flashes letting me know that the signal has transmitted also if needed to y
