okay today we're gonna be discussing how we add comm ports to the computers for use in data track and what we'll use these for devices such as background readers relays for the door system other serial devices so in the past we've been generally adding comport s-- cards into the computers to get them to have multiple ports but we find out in in usage there's a lot of times there's not enough room in those devices or if we're using the smaller form factor devices they can't put an actual physical card serial port card in the computer so this is ways around it these are basically USB Comrie tensioned USB to serial adapter so what that means is what Commerce Center means is you could unplug it plug it back in and you'll get the same comport number in the past they've they're they've been issues with other serial adapters where you plug in the USB and then it gives you a different comport n
