hi Tim here from chesco security again today we're going to be replacing a battery on your wireless motion detector the 5800 series wireless motion detector only requires one cr123 battery before replacing the battery please call our Central Station because when you do open a sensor it will send us a trouble condition when the bottom of the sensor are you going to see a small release tab simply press it on a release tab and pull away from the wall and you will see the detector comes right off there is the battery it's easier to use a small screwdriver or a butter knife simply pop the battery out simply pop the battery out and that's the battery you're looking for it's a lithium half-double a cr123a once you have the new battery be sure to put the positive tab to positive on the detector snap in place remount by hinging the top first and simply snapping back in place the detector will st
