Hey, DIYers. I'm Jorge from AlarmGrid. Today, we're going to be going over, how do we test the Honeywell 5800PIR-RES? This is Honeywell's pet immune motion. Yes, it is a passive infrared motion detector. And today, we're going to be showing you how to test it. So to start off, this sensor here, right out of the box, as soon as you pull the battery tab or as soon as you insert the battery, you're going to see-- let me go ahead and open it up. So you may not be able to see the red light during the video, because of the studio lights that we have. But whenever you first get the sensor, and you install the battery or connect the battery to it, the sensor goes into a 10 minute test mode. Yeah, you should see a red light come up on it. That red light will be there for about 10 minutes. And it actually goes into a 10 minute test. So basically , let me figure out how to put this back on. Sorry.
