all right today we're going to be discussing the red brake light that illuminates on your dash and stays on or comes on and goes off and comes on and goes off first thing you're going to do is check your brake fluid level this is the most common reason why this light comes on and you go to your master cylinder reservoir right here and you want to check the brake fluid most vehicles take dot 3 some European and high-performance vehicles will take dot 4 and in extreme cases dot 5 so always check most common vehicles domestic vehicles will take doubt 3 my fluid level is right in the middle here I can see that through the reservoir it's below the maximum but it is above the minimum so I know my fluid levels ok if your fluid level is ok you want to look here at the switch at the bottom that is the low brake fluid sensor ok so when your fluid runs low this sensor picks it up and illuminates t
