how's it going guys Phil here and this is a review of Varela's ir range extender you'll get the range extender power adapter and an instruction sheet the unit has one receiver and one emitter the USB cable supplies power to the unit and a six and a half feet long it can be plugged into the included adapter or into your TV's USB port note that some TVs don't supply power to the USB ports if the TV is off so if you do use the TV USB port make sure the TV is on before you point your remote at the receiver you'll want to place the receiver where it can be in the line of sight of the remote control then this other 10 foot long wire is connected to the emitter which will be placed over the devices remote sensor so for example if I want to extend the range of my TV I stick the emitter over the sensor here then I place a receiver where I can point the remote at it and now I can point my remote
