With G-Protection antiskip buffer, MP3 playback, an automatic volume limiter system (AVLS), and the ability to add an external battery case, Sony's D-EJ721 portable CD player has just what you need to enjoy your music on the go. Sony's patented G-Protection system provides continuous protection against skips even during the most vigorous activities. The AVLS keeps the maximum volume down to protect your hearing. The D-EJ721 can play back CDs and CD-R/RW discs, and features include a bass boost, hold switch, repeat, shuffle, and programmable play functions. A line out lets you connect the CD player to your audio system when you're at home, and with the optical digital output you can record CDs from the D-EJ721 onto an externally connected MD, DAT, or other digital audio device. It comes with a set of stereo headphones for listening on the road. The included carrying case allows you to carry the CD player easily during strenuous activities.
You can use rechargeable batteries (not included), AA alkaline batteries (not included), or the included AC power adapter. You can extend power by using the external battery case simultaneously with the batteries in the CD player. Battery life can be as high as 86 hours if you use both the external battery case along with two alkaline batteries.
