hi doing a little troubleshooting on an overhead door model 455. the problem is that about three days ago the door stopped working as expected it would move about six inches and stop and i'll show you what what that's like that's all i would do so i did some research on the internet and i came up with the concept that it is probably the rpm sensor the rpm sensor is an electric guy that sits on top of the motor or underneath the motor depending on your model and it rotates around the spindle until it sees color dark color dark color dark so the the round thing is got uh flaps on it and the rpm sensor is that little thing right in the middle there that the flaps go in between there are an electric eye and an emitter and a receiver and it is tapped into right there sorry right there that green board so if you take that green board out what i found was that my one of my electric eyes was um
