[Music] [Music] hey folks let's talk audio again so turntables right I've been using this JVC l - III direct drive turntable for years now because this particular Sony PS x 5 has been out of service for years now probably since 2011 or 2012 when it developed a hum I couldn't get rid of managed to fix the hum eventually but the little interconnect board inside these is made of such trash that if you just apply normal soldering techniques to it the pads lift and you can hardwire that to eliminate that but these also tend to have tone arm issues so this tone arm has an issue where it won't advance you put the needle into the groove and it won't advance this turntable has been nothing but trouble since I've owned it and it has it's sort of my it's been my listening table for a while or at least it used to be years ago the other problem these things have is the cams the cam that controls the
