Garmin GTX-327 Digital Transponder

[Music] so today we're going to be talking about the Garmin GTX 327 it's a radio rack-mounted transponder that's going to take gray code do radio altitude reporting and also have timer functions on it you're going to see it's a normal transponder that's going to fit inside your radio rack but it's not going to be a direct replacement for a say k t70 6a or your older k t70 4 you're going to have to do some wiring to get it to fit into your panel it's got your normal 6.3 width on it it's about 1.3 high so you'll have to take that into consideration when wanting to put it into your panel to make sure that you have the space for it so the main difference that you're going to notice between your Garmin GTX 327 and your older transponders there's pretty nice functions and features you're going to have your digital display here where you're going to be able to see your pressure altitude being
