today in the workshop we'll be working with the 8c SR 5:01 PIR motion sensor I'll show you how this versatile device works and how it can be used all in its own but I'll also show you how you can hook up an Arduino and a Raspberry Pi to build some really cool projects so stay tuned and welcome to the workshop [Music] hello and welcome to the workshop today we're going to be working with a very versatile little motion sensor an H CSR 5:01 passive infrared motion sensor now you've probably seen devices like this before they're used in things like motion sensitive lights and in burglar alarms and indeed we can build those kind of things with the HC SR 5:01 the HC SR 5:01 module is actually so versatile that we don't even need an Arduino or any other kind of microcontroller or a micro computer in order to build some real cool projects and after I show you how a PIR sensor works and how this
